Wrap up Presentation

One final exam for one of my course already done. Alhamdulillah, I had delivered the presentation and passed this course. Not really great presentation actually because the topic was totally new for me and it was really challenging subject because a lot of equations and abstract matter which hard to imagine-and even harder to explained. Fortunately, I got supervisor who really supported me a lot and really helpful. I feel like… I couldn’t did this without my supervisor guidance. Some of my friends couldn’t pass this course because couldn’t meet the deadline: one week before presentation, we must submitted the outline and slides of presentation, a day before presentation we must submitted the final slides.

Actually, my supervisor give so many sources for my topic from ebook, pHD research thesis, papers and I meet her -like- so many times because so many things that I couldn’t really understand. She always checked carefully my slides and my handout, especially in the equations part. Because people like me who always made silly mistakes, she made a lot of correction, even for my final presentation. My supervisor really did  so much effort to supervised me 😦 I feel bad, didn’t show  gratitude to her with the best performance of me.

Wanna know what they think about my presentation, here I summerrize the feedback from my classmate

What I liked about this talk:

+The formula are nicely shown, you marked the most important features

+ It’s clear and interesting

+ She explains everything with good flow, the structure of the talk made sense

+The slides were good and well-prepared also it was obvious that she put on effort for the preparation

+Clear and simple slides sometimes too much formulas

What the speaker can do to improve for the next talk

• You talk to fast in introduction part. Take time. Talk slower
• Maybe not show too much details in the derivation of equations. Just tell how, but not too much details. Less formulas in such a short time, it was hard to follow
• Be less nervous
• She should have talked a little bit louder, the talk was not clear so much
• She was a little excited, so there were some problems abut her fluency
• She lack of practice, try to practice more on the topic
• Contains more content
• Be confident, more complicated equations. Explain the equation

Sooo… there still many things I should improve… 🙂

At least, one obstacle was passed 😀
